This feature is accessible through the Lode Properties function (in the Pictures page). > The fiber cable drafting dialog now keeps track of the number of homes the drafted cable passes. 5.75 Maintenance notes: > Excel pie charts are properly created in Office 2007. > In the drafting commands, the program will now break polylines at the map boundaries if you click on the Done button, press the Escape key, or click on the Close button to finish drafting a polyline. > In the open map dialog, if you enter a map name in the find edit box, the selected map will be placed at the top of the map list box. > Running CreateRteCon on a database map to update the map object's settings will work properly. > Editing a pole object's attributes and saving will successfully update the database. > When deleting a fiber cable, you are no longer given the option of only deleting part of the cable. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drafting Assistant 5.74 New Features/Enhancements: > No Changes 5.74 Maintenance notes: > No Changes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fiber Module 5.74 New Features/Enhancements: > This version contains a new report. To run this report, use the FiberCableReport command. This report provides a summary of all the fiber cables loaded in the current drawing. It lists the total number of cables, the total number of fibers, the customers on those fibers, and the usages for those fibers. > There is now a "find" edit box in the circuit id selection dialog. If you type in the name of a circuit id, the dialog will find and select that circuit id. > The standard grid dialog now has the "Expand By" field. This field works just like the "Expand By" field in the custom grid command. > LodeSpliceBackObject is a new command in this version. This command should make using the LodeAutoSplice command quicker and easier. This command will ask you to select an end point object for the LodeAutoSplice command. This end point object will be used for all subsequent calls to the LodeAutoSplice command. Once the end point object is set, the LodeAutoSplice command only needs one selection to calculate a path for splicing (the path is determined by the object you select in the LodeAutoSplice command, and the end point object you selected in the LodeSpliceBackObject command). To reset the LodeAutoSplice command to its original form, run the LodeSpliceBackObject command and left-click over an empty spot in the current drawing. 5.74 Maintenance notes: > Fixed a bug that could cause the creation of duplicate layers in some circumstances. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 5.73 Now supports the use of Mulitple USB keys with different products Drafting Assistant 5.73/2007/2008 and higher Fiber Module 5.73/2007/2008 and higher Fiber Viewer 5.73 and higher Design Assistant 5.09 and higher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drafting Assistant 5.72 New Features/Enhancements: > No Changes 5.72 Maintenance notes: > No Changes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fiber Module 5.72 New Features/Enhancements: > This version contains several new attribute tags for fiber information. If you connect a fiber cable to a fiber datablock that has one or more of these attribute tags, the program will automatically fill in the attribute information based on the cable it is connected to. Use Establish Connection to connect the datablock to the fiber cable. > The batch plotting command can now output to .dwg files. > When outputting to a .dwg in the batch plotting command, you have the option of converting our custom fiber cables into normal polylines. > The .dwg report shows the wavelength and percentage associated with the splitter output ports. > The enclosure .dwg report shows the splitter connections when the splitters are connected to other splitters. > In the Break Cable Dialog, fibers that have already been broken at least once will now appear in bold text. 5.72 Maintenance notes: > Breaking fibers in the Positions Page will no longer cause the list control to display duplicate entries. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drafting Assistant 5.71 New Features/Enhancements: > No Changes 5.71 Maintenance notes: > Performing an UNDO during RF will no longer casue a problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fiber Module 5.71 New Features/Enhancements: > A fiber equipment has the name of the address its attached to. Use Establish Connection to attach. > Poles are automatically assigned new Drafting ids when .dwgs are exported. > LodeCircleToBlock command converts circles to blocks. > Layers are now saved faster. 5.71 Maintenance notes: > RemoveDuplicateLayers will no longer cause problems with items changing layers. > The Line Type Scale is now properly set when plotting. > Mapcut and Block Break will not create zero length fiber cable segments. > The program will not crash when loading invalid polylines. > You can create EQ settings for 24 EQs now, instead of just 8. > The program will be able to load objects even if there are layers with the same name. > Custom Maps are now available for revision notes and plotting by revision date. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drafting Assistant 5.70 New Features/Enhancements: > A check box has been added to the Create Route Connectivity dialog to allow the users to more accurately establish connections between addresses and poles/peds. Checking this box will override the tollerance search and use the direction of the feed arrow to connect the addresses to poles/peds. 5.70 Maintenance notes: > No Changes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fiber Module 5.70 New Features/Enhancements: > New Work Order Splice Matrix option. The program deterines if an action needs to take place by comparing the state of the splice at the time of the report to the state of the splice at the time when the map was first loaded. > Port Trace Highlight will find all ports within the current drawing of the specified type and high- light the path of all fibers connected to those ports. > You can now attach Visio files to ports. > You can attach more than one circuit ID to a port. When adding new circuits you will see a list of circuit IDs currently in use to avoid adding duplicates. > You can assign SONET properties to ISP ports. > In the Port Properties Dialog, you can set the Job Number, Market, and Circuit IDs to more than one port at a time. Also, when setting these fields, as well as the customer / contact fields, you now can choose how many ports you want to set. The program will start at the current port, and set the next "X" number of ports. > You can attach hyperlinks to objects. > Update Database is now even faster! > In the Usage page of a Cable properties dialog you can now select a fiber in the list control in the lower section of the page, right click and Remove Connections. This will disconnect the fiber from everything it's connected to. > The Circuit ID Report has been enhanced. When a report has been run any port matches will also be shown in the FM Properties control. You can use the command LodeTextStyle to edit these styles. > Shelves with a depth unequal to the depth of the racks they are placed on will be aligned with the front of the rack. > Auto-Splice now works when the selected path only contains an equipment, a fiber cable, and an enclosure with splitters. > You can now assign fibers/cables to splice trays without acually splicing them. Right click on a fiber/cable in the splice dialog tree control and Connect To Tray. Right click and Disconnect to remove them from the tray. > In the Lode Properties Dialog, all the fields will be saved when you click the X in the upper right hand corner. 5.70 Maintenance notes: > The method for loading blocks from the block directory has been improved to only try to load the block once.
